Dr.Hassan completed in 1995 his Internal medicine residency at University of Kentucky, one of the top universities in the USA and he obtained the American Board Certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from University of Louisville, USA.He held several leading positions in the field of Medicine during his career in USA, He was appointed as Medical director of both Crab orchard and Hustonville polyclinics in Stanford, Medical director of American sleep Center in Kentucky and member of Louisville Pulmonary Care.In 2005 he joined Saad Specialist Hospital, Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and he was appointed as Director of Pulmonary, Allergy & Sleep Laboratory departments , Assistant Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Chief of Critical Care and Emergency Departments, posts which he held for 5 years. Then he joined Rashid hospital in 2011 as Section Head for the Sleep Laboratory and Sleep research program in Dubai Health Authority and as a consultant physician in internal medicine, pulmonary, and sleep medicine, where he is still practicing until now.He made very significant contributions in the field of internal medicine, pulmonary, intensive care and sleep services in all the hospitals he worked in. he spent significant time of his work dedicated to humanitarian causes and providing services to the needed communities and patients. He has been a regular speaker in many international conferences and seminars in field of Pulmonary and sleep medicine. Moreover, his work has been the subject of several publications.He is a member of many scientific and professional organizations including fellow member of American academy of sleep medicine and American Chest physicians.
